Mr. Nuruddeen Bashir Abuhuraira

We are honored to welcome Mr. Nuruddeen Bashir Abuhuraira as the Keynote Speaker for the Plateau Entrepreneurship and Investment Summit (PLEIS) 2025.
A seasoned financial expert and an institutional leader, Mr. Abuhuraira currently serves as Acting Branch Controller of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Jos. With over three decades of experience spanning Nigeria’s banking and monetary sectors, he brings a rare blend of strategic insight, regulatory expertise and grassroots understanding of economic development.
A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Mr. Abuhuraira began his academic journey in the sciences before transitioning into management, holding both a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and an MBA in Marketing. His banking career spans Assurance Bank, AFEX Bank, New Africa Merchant Bank, Unity Bank and the Central Bank of Nigeria—where he has served with distinction across Minna and Jos, currently holding the rank of Assistant Director.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (FCE) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), with a strong track record in financial inclusion, monetary policy execution and institutional transformation.
His presence at PLEIS 2025 underscores our commitment to meaningful dialogue between policy, finance and enterprise. Mr. Abuhuraira’s keynote is expected to provide deep, actionable insight into building a more inclusive, investment-ready Plateau economy.
